Amiteza

Were you looking for information about Amitiza? Amiteza is a common misspelling of Amitiza.

Amitiza® (lubiprostone) is approved to treat symptoms of certain bowel movement problems, such as irritable bowel syndrome with constipation and chronic idiopathic constipation. This prescription medication works to treat these conditions by stimulating the movement of food through the intestines. Although most people do not experience any problems while taking this medication, Amitiza is not suitable for everyone. Some of the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about before beginning treatment include liver disease, kidney disease, or severe diarrhea.
