Signs and Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome
If you have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), you may experience symptoms such as chronic abdominal (stomach) pain or discomfort and changes in bowel habits (such as diarrhea or constipation). However, the signs and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome will vary from person to person.
Other possible IBS symptoms can include:
- Bloating
- Intestinal gas or burping
- Nausea.

- Painful menstruation
- More frequent urination.
